Learn the Irish language via online courses through the Philo-Celtic Society has been teaching the Irish Language since 1872.  Mícheál Ó Lócháin started Irish language classes in Brooklyn in 1872 and the magazine “An Gaodhal” in 1881.  In that way he founded the Irish Language movement in America.  The Society offers free Irish language lessons.  Some say this is the best Irish language learning experience available.  A new Starting to Learn course will begin in the Fall.  Here is a link that tells about the school  ccng-philo-celtic.
